I train you and your dog through the Care Dogs & Co program to reach PAT (Public Access Test) level.

Not every dog can be an Assistance Dog and not every handler can make it - it takes a lot of effort, focus and an excellent bond. Most of all, it starts with getting help selecting a dog and being informed at every step, of what is required. Training Package
Dogs of all ages

Are you motivated for change but time-poor for training on your own?

I offer an initial visit and assessment plus 3 follow-ups: two dog-only training sessions where we train at your house or out and about, then follow that with one session where you come along, too! I can work with your dog and then teach you how to achieve the goals on your training plan and reinforce your dog's new skills. It's a great way to get started and build confidence.

Prices start at $550 for 4x sessions

Recall/Loose Lead Walking
Dogs* of all ages

This service offers three x 30 minute in person sessions  teaching you:

a) How to get your dog to return to you when called, OR

b) How to teach your dog to walk on a nice loose lead.

Receive confidence-building tips and advice to set you both up for success, and practice in a variety of safe settings to achieve your goal. Gain access to resources to further help you develop this skill to a level you are happy with. Ongoing support and troubleshooting included, along with a discount on further training packages.

3x 45 minute sessions $180

Puppy Foundations

There are two IMDT trainers in classes, and we teach you and your puppy the information and beginner's skills to make the best start together.

We cover body language, handling, eye contact, recall, sit, settle, down and Find It. We also touch on chewing, toileting, enrichment and adolescence! Phew! All packed into four weeks, plus some One on One Pup interaction to learn what fair play looks like.

Join classes* where we use positive reinforcement and rewards-based training, for a four week course at Channel Highway Animal Hospital (Kingston). You can book directly and pay to confirm.

Choosing breeder/puppy

Thinking of getting a puppy or choosing a breeder and don't know here to start?

Getting a trainer consulting at this stage is the GOLD standard of making informed decisions.
